Reflectionz
At the beginning of this marking period, and year I came into art class rough around the edges just like many other students. Although I've taken art for three years, I still need some "warming up" time. I noticed how much I've already improved in drawing, and believe me, drawing is not necessarily my thing. I must say though I am pleasantly surprised at how I am currently doing. I'm excited to embrace the Tempera Batik self-portraits, and for clay this up-coming winter! While working on multiple side projects, I will over-all be working on my circle book, which will not be finished until the very end of the year. I already have a bulk of papers to choose from from just this marking period alone! Multiply that by four, and I'm ready to complete my book. So far this year has been successful, and I have had great turn-outs this first marking period.
Apples to Apples
This is one of my two apple still-life drawings. I love the colors, and how realistic it looks. I used Prisma Colored pencils. (They're amazing) and some of my imagination. Although I take pictures of what I draw, I tend to go off track and draw it the way I see it. (:

Hello World!
Or possibly just classmates. I would like to formally introduce myself, I'm Ally D'Angelo. I'm 17 years old, and in my final year of high school. Which means my final year of high school art. This blog will be updating you on what I accomplish throughout my senior year. I'm eager to start and fast forward to the end, but I'll unfortunately just have to wait! What is left of 2011 shall be interesting, but I'm definitely more excited for 2012, for many reasons! This art year will be different, yet the same, and I will have to figure out how to put my own twist on things. I'm ready to experience what I hope will be a wonderful journey, and if you haven't left by now, I hope you are too!
- Love you if you kept reading, I'll talk to you again soon!
